AWS DevOps for Laravel - Reliable Deploys, Backups, and Monitoring

From EC2/ALB to CI/CD pipelines, I build a stable deployment process so you can ship confidently and recover quickly if something goes wrong.

  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI): build, test, deploy, rollback.
  • AWS setup: EC2, ALB, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Reliability: backups, alerts, logs, performance tuning.

If deploys are stressful, the system needs guardrails-not heroics.

Senior-level help without the agency overhead

I build and maintain production Laravel apps and AWS environments. I'm not selling a generic package-I\'m solving the problem you have right now and documenting what I changed so you\'re not stuck again later.

What changes after DevOps is done right

Safer deploys

Repeatable, documented process with rollback.

Fewer incidents

Monitoring and alerts catch issues early.

Faster recovery

Backups + restore drills so you're not guessing.

Clear ownership

Runbooks and access controls reduce chaos.

Typical Laravel on AWS setup

  • Route 53 -> ALB -> EC2 (PHP-FPM/Nginx) -> RDS
  • S3 for assets/backups
  • CloudWatch logs/metrics/alerts
  • Queue worker on EC2 or separate instance (optional)

How we can work together

One-time setup / overhaul

Best when you want a solid foundation: CI/CD + monitoring + backups + documentation.

Monthly reliability retainer

Best when you want someone watching the system, responding to incidents, and improving reliability over time.

What I can set up or improve

  • CI/CD pipeline (build, test, deploy, rollback strategy)
  • Environment + secrets handling (no secrets in repos)
  • EC2 hardening and baseline configuration
  • ALB health checks, timeouts, and proper routing
  • RDS backups + restore verification
  • CloudWatch logs + alerts (errors, latency, disk, CPU)
  • App performance basics (cache, queues, opcache tuning)

What clients say

"Robert stabilized our Laravel app quickly, explained the root cause in plain English, and put guardrails in place so it did not happen again."

Client - SaaS Team

"We migrated a legacy PHP system without downtime. The phased plan kept risk low and progress steady."

Client - Operations

"Our deploys went from stressful to reliable. CI/CD, backups, and monitoring were handled end-to-end."

FAQ

Do you support cPanel/WHM or only AWS?

Both. If you're on cPanel/WHM now and want a cleaner pipeline or a move to AWS, I can help with either path.

Can you modernize an existing AWS setup?

Yes. Many setups work 'most of the time' until they do not. I focus on stability, observability, and repeatable deploys.

Do you implement Infrastructure as Code?

If it is a good fit, yes. We can start simple and introduce IaC where it adds real value and maintainability.

How do you handle secrets?

No secrets in repos. We use environment variables and a proper secret storage approach depending on your stack and access model.

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes. If you need ongoing monitoring and improvements, a monthly reliability retainer keeps things stable long-term.

Make deploys boring (in the best way)

Tell me what you're running today (hosting, repo, deploy process) and what you want it to look like. I'll respond with a recommended plan.

Not a fit if...

  • You need the cheapest option available.
  • You cannot provide access needed to troubleshoot (or a point of contact who can).
  • You're looking for a 'magic fix' without addressing root cause.
  • You want 'DevOps' without allowing any changes to process, access, or monitoring.
